Matthew Harding, President and CEO

Matthew Harding is a Senior Systems Architect with over 15 years proven experience in the architecture, installation, and implementation of complex system projects, server consolidations, and application migrations. With a strong operations management and implementation background, Matthew has extensive knowledge of all major flavours of UNIX (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX and Linux) in the areas of OS Installation and Support, Systems and Network Management, Network Security Architecture, Project Management, and Databases. Matthew is Tivoli Certified, certified in AIX (Certified Specialist in AIX), Solaris 8 and 9 (SCSA), and HP-UX (Certified IT Professional). Matthew is ITIL certified, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). As KTL Group's President and CEO, Matthew has driven KTL to the success that it enjoys today and ensures that it remains a key asset to the Ottawa marketplace for all its customers.

Todd Switzer

Todd Switzer is a highly motivated and dynamic network security and UNIX specialist. Todd has a several years experience in the field and holds a degree in computer science in a network computing stream. He has been involved in supporting secure architectures, providing security assessments and threat responses, implementing disaster recovery systems and in the design and deployment of secure network environments. Todd has extensive experience in ensuring the security of vital networks through monitoring and threat assessment. He has worked to understand emerging threats to government infrastructure and to create responses to mitigate the potential impact of those threats. Todd is ITIL certified and a Sun Certified Systems Administrator.

Alain Aubé

Alain Aubé, NNCSS, is a certified instructor and also HP and Nortel certified. Alain heads the network and security practice within the company. Certified in Nortel's VPN solutions and HP's network management solutions, Alain brings over 6 years of instructor technical training and customer implementation experience in large, enterprise-scale network and security roll-outs. As a sub-contracted Nortel instructor, Alain traveled around the world delivering Nortel's Contivity Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions training to Nortel's most valued customers.

Derek MacKay

Derek MacKay is an IT Support Engineer with 7 years of proven experience providing general IT application, server, and development support for the Software Development (Localization Engineering) group at Corel Corporation. Highly motivated and dependable, Derek has a wide experience supporting and managing a diverse IT infrastructure. With experience in Linux/UNIX, PCs, Macs, and dozens of applications, Derek provides a broad background in application and server level support. Derek has gained experience and knowledge of a large collection of servers, applications, and software development tools including: Windows 98, NT4.0, Windows 2000/XP/2003), Linux, Solaris, Windows, MacOS 9.x and MacOSX, MVS, Alchemy Catalyst, PowerGlot for Mac, Visual Studio, SourceSafe, Resourcerer, CVS, SVN, Rational ClearQuest, Perl, HTML, Java/JavaScript, VBScript, C++, AppleScript, COBOL and CICS.

Tony Gaind

Tony Gaind is an IT Security Specialist with over 11 years of proven experience in the design, implementation, review, and management of IT Security policies, threat and risk assessments, and risk mitigation plans. He has significant experience conducting IT security audits and risk assessments to monitor and enforce integrated technology strategies and technical security standards, practices and procedures for data, applications and technology; and initiating protective or corrective measures on any identified security exposures associated with the Government of Canada Secure Channel Project. With experience ranging all the way from 1st line security operations and network security analysis, to Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the Government of Canada’s Secure Channel, Tony is a reliable, enthusiastic and energetic IT Security specialist who thrives on challenge and responsibility.

Phil McBride

Phil McBride is an IT Security Specialist with over 12 years of proven experience in a wide variety of technological fields. With experience ranging from 1st line security operations and network security analysis, to that of a Security Analyst for the Government of Canada’s Secure Channel. Phil is a reliable, enthusiastic and energetic IT Security specialist who thrives on challenge and responsibility. His experience also includes Computer Operations, Systems Management/Administration and Security Operations. In addition, Phil is IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certified. Phil has expertise in the following areas: IT Security Incident Handler; Virus and SPAM Protection; Technical support Specialist; E-Secure ID Administration; Systems Management/Administration; Security Operations Centre Analyst

Philippe Arcand

Philippe Arcand, ITIL, is a software application developer. Philippe has experience with Microsoft's .NET development platform and suite of tools and specializes in Web Development. Philippe has done a variety of projects using classic ASP, ASP .NET (C# and VB) and Java. In the past years, Philippe has worked for companies such as Bowater and Papier Masson, gaining valuable experience dealing with real-time data, industrial software such as PI and Proficy and quality assurance.

Keith Robertson

Keith Robertson is a motivated, reliable and versatile Software Developer with strong QA skills, an enthusiastic attitude and a strong desire to learn. With proven experience in the design, development and maintenance of sophisticated business-oriented Web applications, Keith quickly learns and integrates new technology, and is able to use this knowledge to quickly and effectively build functioning systems from the ground up. Experienced in Java, the Visual Studio.NET Framework (VB.NET, ASP.NET), and SQL (Microsoft SQL Server). Keith’s strong communication and team skills are assets to any project. Keith’s latest success is in his efforts at Oetz Systems Inc. with the Ambia system. Ambia is a self-aware home automation system implemented in .NET that used the UML framework.
